Colic in infants is a condition where a healthy baby to cry or yell more often for long enough duration for no apparent reason. Usually appear on babies healthy during the first 2 weeks of age until the age of 4 months and can occur both in babies who drank milk and infant formula.
Colic usually appears at times that are unpredictable and will disappear by itself. Some of the causes of colic in infants who did not make it comfortable is stress, exposure to cigarette smoke, abdominal cramps, overfeeding, and so forth.
Some babies are allergic to cow's milk protein may also experience abdominal colic. Handling is to avoid the possibilities of the cause of colic, as mentioned above, and do not forget also to the mothers to give babies a sense of comfort, protection and full of patience.
